These pink cloud paintings started with that particular kind of evening light that makes the whole sky look slightly unreal. Pink bouncing through the clouds, patches of brightness, everything glowing for a few minutes before it disappears.
Painted as a pair, the two panels are meant to feel like you’ve caught a piece of the sky mid-movement. Loose, layered marks keep the clouds from feeling too precious, while the pink shifts from soft and hazy to almost electric.
