Location: WORKSHOP, Stittsville / Ottawa West
Join us for a hands-on linocut workshop where participants will design, carve, and print their own custom lino stamp and use it to create a hand-printed tote bag to take home.
This session is designed for beginners and curious makers. No previous printmaking experience is required.
We’ll begin by exploring simple mark-making and design ideas inspired by pattern, nature, and personal symbols. Participants will then transfer their design onto linoleum blocks and carve their own stamp using safe, guided techniques.
Once carved, we’ll move into the printmaking stage, experimenting with ink, layering, and placement as each participant prints their design onto a reusable tote bag.
This workshop is both creative and practical, offering a chance to learn traditional printmaking techniques while leaving with a functional, hand-printed piece of art.
$75 per participant
All materials included.
Each participant will design, carve, and print their own lino stamp, finishing the workshop with a hand-printed tote bag to take home.
Studio Pair Pass
$140 for two participants attending together
Creativity is often expanded through shared experience. The Studio Pair Pass is designed for people attending together—friends, family members, or creative partners—who want to explore printmaking side by side.
Each participant will complete their own individual print and tote bag.
